Desserter utan gränser (Desserts without limits) is all about experiencing sweet taste sensations. We produce desserts, pastries and confectionery using our own recipes in our production kitchen, which is located in southern Stockholm.
Desserts should look beautiful, arouse the senses and be both exquisitely delicate and exciting to enjoy. This is how one ensures taste satisfaction.
With our desserts, we strive to create both balance and contrast. Between the traditional and the new. Between basic tastes and aromas. Sweetness is intermingled with saltiness, sour with bitter, and soft with crunchy and crispy. Swedish flavours are combined with influences from various other parts of the world. Just as in one’s imagination, there are no limits to our creativity. We believe that our lives are enriched by a sweet golden coating, and we want to convey this feeling to you. This is our taste philosophy.
At our liquorice and dessert tastings we share this philosophy and our knowledge with others. The aim with these events is to inspire you to be creative at home in the kitchen.
Salmiakkola is our main product. It is a handmade soft caramel containing real liquorice, and has been named Sweden's favourite liquorice for three years in a row. We have manufactured Salmiakkola since the company was founded in 2010, and it is sold here in the online shop, in selected delicatessens throughout Sweden, as well as in Finland and Germany.
Salmiakkola sauce is the caramel in the form of a dessert topping. This really puts the icing on the top of desserts, pastries and ice cream. During the Advent period we also sell Julkola (Christmas Soft Caramel), which contains saffron, liquorice, lingonberries and sea salt.
